the Hollywood Palace TV show in 1969. This is classic camp stuff as
they sing agonizing renditions of Beatles songs!

This clip reminds me of how much I *despise* that cloying TV bit
where the audience is prodded to fake-applaud when they "recognize"
a song. Excruciating.

This reminds me of an Ed Sullivan episode that paid tribute to the
Beatles. Steve and Eydie singing "Ob La Di" was just as bad as this.
