Some Other Guy...
Since the concert was filmed, I assume, in mono, how in the world did Paul overdub new bass lines
and John record a new organ track for I'm Down in 1966? There is no way that each member got there
own track isolated. If John recorded the organ again, why cant we hear the one on the original
recording? Same question for Paul's bass overdubs.

Danny Caccavo...
My guess is that the organ was inaudible on the original recording,
which is a) why they replaced it, and b) why you can't hear the origial.

Likely the same for the bass.

So think if the overdubs as "adding" not "replacing."

Some Other Guy...
That makes sense, except, I heard that Act Naturally was performed without Ringo's mic on and that
is why they used the album version in the film. If your theory is correct, wouldnt they have added
the vocal since it was missing? Why even go through the trouble of sync'ing the record (and leaving
a couple of gaps out to keep it in sync) than to simply add the vocal.

I was surprised that Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby sounded so good on the Anthology cd single and
they hadnt even touched that one in the studio. I wonder why they left it out of the movie.

I guess we will never know all the answers to some of the mystery that is the Beatles.

timagine...
The Beatles promptly forgot the answers right after Candlestick.

Paul anymore seems to think that the grandeur of his career on stage
has something to do with being a bigshot with light shows and sets,
rather than a euphoric young man who tore the curtain of the art world
completely in half by not knowing that there could be limits or brakes
on possibilities in creativity.
