Spector as producer after the split

Did George admire Spector's ability to make lots of instruments sound
good? Is that what Spector was largely known for? For example,
George's song Anyone At All sounds like 100 people are siniging and
playing on it but it sounds clear. Is that why George would want
Spector as producer?

Emerick and Lewisohn both noted how he had produced Two Of Us, to make
the acoustic guitar sound right. I don't know why that would be hard
but those guys would know more than us.

What earlier works best show what Spector was good at? I hate that
River Mountain High song.

It just occurred to me about Spector. He was on the plane with the
Beatles when they first came to the U.S. and then he did the "Let It
Be" album. Don't know if there was any contact between those times. Odd
that he kinda there for the beginning and then the end.=20
