I'd say the Beatles definitely jumped the shark when the MMT film was
released.

MMT was, indeed, a low point. However, it's not fair to say that the
Beatles "Jumped the Shark" since they went on to make both the White
Album and Abbey Road after that.

I always thought there should have been more spaghetti on the floor, or

ends.

Personally, I'd like to see outtakes from the scene at the strip club.
In the film, it looks like John and George are both hiding woodies in
their laps.

The Beatles have yet to jump the shark, and never will.

'Jumping the shark' is mostly a myth anyway, promoted by sad, rigid
people who think the good things in life should stay the same way for
ever and ever instead of evolving into something different, but also good.
I know, because I've always been one of them at heart. When I learned to
start accepting change in my own life, it did wonders for my ability to
accept it in my entertainment.

I have no problem accepting change in my life. I welcome it all. Credit
and debit cards are a problem, though.

Sean,
I agree with your thoughts on people thinking the good things in life should
stay the same, but if you were a fan of Happy Days, that show took a dump
when Fonzie ski-jumped the shark. There is a time when certain artists
become passe at one point or another, a lot of the hair bands of the 80's is
an example as well as bands that used a lot of synthesizers in the 80's.
The Beatles had artistic low points in their careers, but never Jumped the
Shark in my opinion.
