Expert texpert or expert text spurt?

This reminds me, I know what a "mac" is ("The banker never wears a mac
in the pouring rain"), but what is an "ass sweater" ("Yukon-knit ass
sweater by the fireside")?
Or were the Beatles just trying to cover their butts with that one?

Oh that magic feeling--nowhere to go or
oh, that magic feeling know where to go?
Always, no, sometimes, think or always know, sometimes think?

I believe the lyric from STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER is..."Always...no,
sometimes think it's me..." That is the way I have seen it printed. "Expert
textpert..." (I like your take on this) and "...nowhere to go" are printed
that way too.
...but I enjoy 'playing' with a lyric once in a while...I often quote "You
say yes, I say KNOW..." and "...tuned to A...naturally". It does give a
different 'take' on the lyric as written, and seems appropriate when
considering Beatle lyrics...they often 'played' with lyrics.

"Please don't be long" or "Please don't belong"?
Bernie Woodham...

Please don't, Bee long.
I think the lyric was written for Aunt Bee. By saying "Bee long", he was
saying "Bee in the long form" ie; Aunt Bee.
