Seerialmom...
A question was asked on Show Me The Money tonight: "what Rod Stewart
song did the Beatles recently found to have covered".

In my head I answered "Maggie May" but also knew it was wrong. I did
search the news group and I know it was mentioned back in July as being
false...but to be on a major network show is pretty bad, too.
Unfortunately ABC doesn't have any "message group" or show feedback
option that I could find...so I thought I'd gripe about it here :)
Maybe they'll get a bunch of hate/snail mail instead of all us Beatle
fans, eh? :)

Joe B...
I remember in the very early days of MTV, Martha Quinn asked a Beatles
trivia question. "What was the first album released on the Apple
Lable" Her answer was "Hey Jude", and they showed a picture of the
"Hey Jude" album cover. I pictured Beatles fans everywhere yelling at
their TV screens. I'm sure that the confusion came from the "Hey
Jude" single being released first, and the album a year or so later.

Seerialmom...
Even more confusing since there never was a "Hey Jude" album....the
song was on the Let It Be album. Maybe Martha should have asked "what
was the first "record" to be released on the Apple label", eh?

freshfeces...
Uh Hey Jude was on the Let It Be album? I don't think so. It was a
single and then showed up on the Hey Jude compilation album after they
had broken up.

donz5...
Before they had publicly broken up. The LP was released in the U.S.
February 23, 1970; Paul's "self-interview" break-up announcement
occured April 10, 1970.

Seerialmom...
OOPS...my bad...it is on the Hey Jude album...geez...I haven't looked
at my albums for so long I confused that album cover with Let It Be.
Must have been that lasting confusion from the game show last
night...brain is fried :-p

Max Rebo...
That's OK, that show won't be on the air much longer anyway.

UsurperTom...
Hey, aren't you the leader of the Max Rebo Band at Jabba the Hutt's
palace?

Max Rebo...
Give that man a kewpie doll...

UsurperTom...
I always wondered if you survived the explosion...
