Looking at your list, I have no idea what you mean, except for perhaps "Can
You Take Me Back". Sounds like you equate a song with a few minor chords
with "spooky". A handful of minor chords in an upbeat song (ie Penny Lane)
or a ballad (Yesterday, Golden Slumbers, And I Love Her, For No One) does

You sound like a real dimwitted ass.

Sounds to me like he's being reasonable and correct. How does thst make
him a "dimwitted ass"? I don't find one of the songs listed above as
being "spooky" and I don't see how anyone could.

That's one of the many differences between you and Paul

I labeled myself "masteroftheobvious" earlier today, but I think I must

Groan. Just because I hadn't heard (or didn't recall) the songs you
named didn't mean I didn't know they were from McCartney albums. Since
they were your picks for "spooky Paul songs," I think it goes without
saying that they were songs by Paul McCartney rather than, say, Alanis
Morissette.

What is spooky about "yesterday" & "And I love her"? Never heard "Can
you take me back."

"Can you take me back" isn't really a song. It's more like a snippet.
You've heard it before, Jeff. You know... "Can you take me back where I

If you want real spooky McCartney, there was a short take on Band On
The Run that he did for a BBC tv trailer, all wine glasses and backward
tape loops and things. I think he did something similar on his Live
from Abbey Road tv special. None of the above come close.

came from, can you take me back..." It comes right before "Revolution
9". I don't have the album in front of me to see where the track ends,
but it might even be part of "Cry Baby Cry" (though I doubt it).
Anyway, I do agree that it's a bit spooky, but I think part of the
reason is that it comes right before "Revolution 9" which IS spooky, in
my opinion.

Ok, now I know what song you are talking about, Donna, and it IS
spooky..almost creepy.
Someone in RMB should finish this song off.

The song last about 1 minute 17 seconds.
Has Paul on accoustic guitar and someone (Ringo) playing bongos.
The below is a transcipt. One unclear spot is the third line.
Not clear if it's Face the grotto or face the broto. Kind of a munbled word.
Can You Take me Back
(Lennon - McCartney)
Time: 1:17
Unreleased
Oh no brother can you take me can you take me by the hand

I always found Paul's "Love in Song" (Venus and Mars) to be one of his
most haunting tunes, which is close enough to spooky for me...
