...I hope Paul does get stripped of a whole lot of his money.

Paul should have seen to it that Cynthia and Julian had everything they
would have had if John had been there for them. Without John, Paul
would have missed the boat himself; he should have given Cynthia and
Julian enough to be set for life. I'm disgusted that he didn't.

BlackMonk...
Cynthia and Julian had it rough?

R U Sirius?

Paul is responsible? John and Cynthia were responsible.

Barbara & Wim Meijnen & Kombrink...
I have no idea where you're talking about...he had the Moral Obligation
to care for Cynthia and Julian?!? You must be kidding!

I'm sorry to say, but this is a silly post.

And the heading is also silly . . . . "how rough Cynthia and Julian had
it!!!"""

How ridiculous. Perhaps John could have been a bit more generous, but
Cynthia and Julian were more than well taken care of. Financially,
they did not have it rough at all. I think socially things were rough,
but that is not entirely John's fault. Itis just the way the public
is. My main criticism is JOhn should have spent more time with Julian
and been more of a father.

As a matter of fact, compared to most divorced wives and children of
divorce, Julian and Cynthia were very rich. They lived in lovely homes
and Julian went to private school. (Paul sent his own kids to public
school!!)

Plus we must remember Cynthia married twice after John. She married
that Italian hotel guy (Bassinin?) just two or three years after she
divorced John . . . . In many jurisdictions (the US at least) once a
woman remarries, husband number one is completely off the hook.

When Ringo had financial problems during the 80's, he fought to have a
reduction in alimony payments to Maureen because her live-in boyfriend,
Isaac Tigrett (who she would eventually marry) was a millionaire.
