Did anyone here see the Beatles?

My boyfriend is a huge Beatles fan and so for his birthday this month
I'm trying to start a small online community where people who have seen
the Beatles or who were Beatles fans can talk about them. He's talked
about starting this type of community for ages.

If you are a Beatles fan, please stop by! I am of course a Beatles fan,
but in no way an expert so I would love some input from some of you
before I show him on the 8th. I

I saw the BEATLES at Suffolk Downs Race Track in Boston 1966......... "saw"
being the operative word... you couldn't hear anything except the
screaming!!! CYRKLE (Red Rubber Ball), Bobby Hebb (Sunny), The Ronnettes (Be
My Baby) also performed... them you could hear... ;^)

I went with two girlfriends... after the concert we stood outside the hotel
we thought they were staying at, screaming at the top of our
lungs!!!........... well...I was young and very silly........ 8*) Finally,
as we were very hoarse, we went home... about 3am in the morning. But we
were ELATED... the BEATLES were (and still are) our "heroes". The BEATLES
were to inspire many of my later artistic pursuits... of that I am eternally
grateful to THE BEATLES.

Why don't you bring your boyfriend over here to REC.MUSIC.BEATLES...? You
and he sound like you might be "our" kind of people... and there is a sort
of community established here already... just be careful of some of the
"inmates" here (they can seem pretty uncouth and rude... but if you pay them
no mind, they can be quite amusing...

I'm sure it can be a very amusing group. Partly because I like to
build things, and partly because I like to be able to have things a
little more well organized then the back end of this type of group
allows. I would like to be able to browse through old stories without
having to page through other posts that might not be what I'm looking
for. I also get bummer when I can't find the story I was looking for
because there have been a ton of other stories posted on top of that.
With my forum, there are different sections to post in so things can be
found easliy in the future.

I'm sure there are some control issues as well. 8-}~

And I don't think that it's really a one or the other situation. You
cna really never have enough places to chat about the Beatles!
