Doves - Some Cities

Seth Jackson...
I listened to "Abbey Road" this morning. ;^)

The Shins - Chutes Too Narrow

Chris Jepson...
Well, I think I feel pretty positive about every song on both "Chaos and
Creation" and "A Bigger Bang", but some of the songs I'm rather lukewarm
about. So maybe to make it a bit more interesting I'll say "Wheels of
Fortune" by the Flatlanders.

Chris Jepson

Quadrophenia. I never get tired of that album.

That *was* a good one.

The last CD? I guess I listened to two in the last two days that met that
criteria, so I'll list both:

1. Mary Gauthier -- Mercy Now -- stunning, incredible in every way.

2. Richard Wagner -- Tristan und Isolde (Karajan/Berlin Philharmonic recording
from 1990) -- WOW! (in all candor I only listened to the first two CDs of this
four CD set, so please give me a waiver)

Honorable mention: Sufjan Stevens -- Come On Feel the Illinoise -- most of the
tracks are excellent and some are simply jaw-dropping -- from a songwriting (if
not singing) perspective like Wilson/Parks at their height
