At last the first decent review of the Love-album...it promises that
we'll listen to it more often than Anthology 1 (which should be easy; I
haven't listened to that for 5 years). It makes me very curious about
the 5.1 remix!

Where's the review?

I think one nice thing about Love is that it will draw attention to
various instrumental segments of songs, and in surround sound you will
be able to hear them well, as kind of a Beatles smorgasbord for the
senses.

And just fun, to hear the way Martin and Son played with the sounds,
mixing things in unusual ways. If it was in stereo I wouldn't be nearly
as excited about it, but the surround sound should be really fun to
hear.

It's in the december-issue of Mojo in the album-review section. (Mr
Townshend and Mr Daltrey are on the cover). It's quite a raving review;
it states it ISN'T a new Stars-on-45-mix and it sheds a whole new light
(soundwise) on the vocals. The Hey Jude-mix makes the excellent
bass-line more audible and the 'Goose'-sounds in Tomorrow Never Knows
swirl around you on the 5.1-mix....I'd like that!
There's a short interview with Niles, who pretty well knows what the
reaction of the puritans is going to be ('There'll be letters.').
