Question about Yoko before she targeted John

I seem to remember that when I first heard that John was seeing Yoko,
I already knew who she was. I think I had seen her on either Mike
Douglas or Merv Griffin doing her "art" prior to her involvment with
John. Is my memory faulty, or had she made an appearance on American
TV?

appeared on some talk show called 'Frost on Saturday' in 1968 and 'The
David Frost Show' on 10 July 1969. The former was before she married
John (though they were probably already *seeing* each other) and the
latter only 4 months after. You might be thinking of one of those.
