What is the cathedral in the background with the white piano floating
in front?

richardfangnail...
Thank you, it's also at the bottom of this page:

Mel Torment...
I assume you're referring to the "Real Love" video?

In Anthology, was the "Something" segment made back in 1970 or is it an
assemblage made for the Anthology? Also, was that Martha the sheepdog?

Mel Torment...
It predates the Anthology by many years. Nicholas Schaffner referred to
it in "Beatles Forever", which was published in 1978 (if I'm not
mistaken).

Mel Torment...
Big OOPS, here re: the "Something" promo.. I got my references crossed.

LEWISOHN referred to it in "Complete Beatles Chronicles", not
Schaffner.
Even *he* doesn't know exactly when the footage was shot , but he
guesses October '69.

Mel Torment...
No. That was Yoko.

Why did Paul use the famous standup bass for his part in Real Love?

Mel Torment...
Because he could.

Runnnerr...
Something was done in 1969 as far as I know was not done especially for
the Anthology. That was Martha the sheepdog. Maybe Paul saw the standup
bass as a way to draw more attention to himself.

Can't help you with the others.
