Healthy Stealthy...
I wonder how much Kaus Voorman's masterpeace (The Beatles Revolver
cover) would sell for if it was actioned off? Anyone care to make a
guess?

Bip Bop...
It was really interesting to see Klaus Voorman on the stage playing
with George and the rest of the band at the "Concert for Bangla Desh".
George introduced him saying something like here's someone you've heard
a lot about but perhaps have never seen.

He looked very, very cool.

Yourimageunreels...
Yeah he did. I was always told by a good friend the last 30 years..that
he was the bass player for "Badfinger," and that Peter Tork of "the
Monkees died back then. I hung out with the wrong friends.

If you want to find out where the original is, and who owns it, try
posting a message on : klaus-voormann.com A while back I did a search
for who owns the number one production 12 string of Rickenbacker
(George got number 2) and it made me puke.

IMHO I thought the cover art for Revolver was very poor. I had junior
high friends whose caricatures of the Beatles were better - and to boot
check the sloppy cut and paste of photo images.

Lookingglass...
They weren't caricatures... they were portraits. The figures in YELLOW
SUBMARINE were caricatures.

A portrait is an accurate reflection (usually by photograph or
painting) of a person, usually the face.

A caricature is an exaggerated drawing of a person's features, usually
focusing on the face.

The Klaus Voorman Revolver cover is comprised of caricature drawings
mixed with photographic "portraits" if you will.

Voorman attempted a number of portraits of the Beatles elsewhere, and
although amateurish, they could be compared to the Revolver caricatures
as "portraits"

My guess would be $500,000!
