Maybe it's tasteless, but it will introduce some kids to the Fabs music, so

Tasteless? Have you ever been to a Cirque du Soleil show? It's actually
quite an experience.
Done properly, a Cirque show based on the music of The Beatles could
(operative word being "could") be very good. It'll be interesting to
see how they approach it.

Actually I have been to the "O" show at Bellagio. It was spectacular. I'm
just not sure that the Fabs music is suited to this kind of "Vegas"
treatment. The music must be treated with reverence, like on the oldies
station!

What I am hoping for is that one day Apple agrees to release the show on DVD
format and not just the programs soundtrack.

1) that it was GEORGE's idea, not Paul's, to team up with Cirque.
2) that George Martin is heavily involved in the music part of it
I am going to buy tickets to see one of the "practice" sessions right
before the actual 1st performance; it's 25% cheaper and should be
about the same. I live close enough to Vegas that this is not a great
expense.
I'll report back on what I think.
