Does anyone know where I can find the album with the song "Mr Moonshine
Man" or "Moonshine man"
on it? I've checked all the CD's...and this song wasn't a

It's on Blaze, which I believe was their last full album, in 1967. There's a
CD with a lot of later bonus tracks. It's still very poppy, but it sounds
more grown-up than their earlier hits. I've always liked the album a lot,
and the bonus tracks are very good.
If you can't find the album sold anywhere else, it's probably at Peter

You're right. I don't know why I didn't see the song..the first time on
this album.
Thanks again.

You're welcome. It's definitely worth getting, especially with the bonus
tracks. I think one of them is "Nobody Needs to Know,' which is my favorite
HH song. It's a simple love song built around an acoustic guitar, maybe sort
of McCartney-ish, and Peter Noone does one of his better vocals on it. (He's
singing in the lower part of his range, which he didn't use too often, with
occasional breaks into falsetto.)
Plus, you might recognize the "For Your Love" progression on one of the
songs from the original album. (They also recorded For Your Love, and he
still does it in his shows.)

Thanks for your post..and the link. I checked that album and the song
wasn't on there.
I'll check again. Yeah, they had some decent songs. Do you remember the
title of the
original LP that it was on?

You're right, it is there, and that is one boatlaod of bonus tracks
(including one called "Here Comes the Star").
I met Peter once, and, I must say, he is a genuinely nice guy.

hit...therefore it's not on any Disc that I am
aware of. If none of you can tell me where to find the LP, could you
please tell me if you would, how
much you would charge..to mail me a copy of it. ( Not scratched) and in
good condition? Thank you.
Please e-mail me if you'd like.
