No, there was someone else who sang a few lines in that song(other than
Leon), but it wasn't Clapton...Jesse Ed Davis, maybe?

No, he just played guitar. Most reports say he was totally out of it
around this time and barely held it together to play. On the DVD he
says that he picked the wrong guitar (Epiphone semi-acoustic) to solo
with, and you can see him really struggling with the solo in WMGGW. But
he plays well throughout.
