And very 70s they are too.

See Chuck Berry, Lennon, and Ono attempt to cook on a macrobiotic
segment. See the expert chastise John for being confused about his
cabbage-chopping and therefore imparting confused and non-peaceful
vibes to the food. No word on whether the food was irritated by her
irritated vibes. Yoko announces she was once a cook at a macrobiotic
restaurant called Paradox.

Irrelevant...
Just the kind of stuff that is not gonna be in YouTube after it's been
searched the web for. Goo-goo-ga-joob.

I suggest that everyone downloads their favourite Beatle clips right
now. The big broom is about to land.

Lord Buckeye...
I hope they dont remove this one

F Parella...
That's not the sort of thing Berry usually eats.

fattuchus...
I thought the segment was interesting, but strange. The particular
thing they were preparing did not seem appealing to me.

TAR...
Yeah, fry up some greasy, fattening food with kind, loving thoughts.
Weird.

fattuchus...
I thought the food itself was not fattening (sea weed and cabbage in an
eggroll?). However frying anything is fattening.

The thought of eating an egg roll made mostly of cabbage and sea weed
isn't my cup of tea.

TAR...
I loved the expression Mike Douglas' face when he tasted it.

fattuchus...
LOL!

Speaking of funny faces, IIRC on the first show, Mike made some
reference to some other guest on his show who played rocks. John then
made some remark, part of which got bleeped off the air. (I assume he
referenced male genitals in some slang way) The audience laughed, Yoko
froze, and Mike Douglas made a FACE. John apologized. It was a riot.

Now watch them make music out of the alpha waves coming out ouf their
head on the biofeedback segment - complete with sitting on the floor
wearing white headband sensors. Marvel with me at the biofeedback
expert's Big Puffy Shirt.

fattuchus...
I am lucky to own copies of tapes of the complete J & Y appearances on
Mike Douglas..

fattuchus...
I smiled when I saw John trying to share an apron with Chuck Berry
during the cooking segment. John is obviously a fan.

TAR...
He seemed apologetic to Chuck Berry about having to wear the apron and
being involved in the cooking segment. :)

DC...
Yeah. And Chuck didn't want the apron to mess up his hair.

TAR...
Very interesting (and strange) clips. Thank you for the links!
