What Goes on at RMBM?

OK, there never was a contest between RMB and RMBM. RMB always had
many more topics and posts than the moderated group. I just visited
RMBM for the first time in many months...and it's almost
deserted....only about 20 topics in all of 2006, with only 150 posts.

I prefer the censorhsip to the rotating
group of a dozen or so imbeciles here who turn most posts
into a fight, a flame or a personal dialogue with one another.

Problem with the moderated group, it seemed,
was the delay in seeing the posts appear.
W/o the instant gratification,
it seems most posters lose interest.

Actually, that may be the most compelling answer.

I can remember waiting days, literally, for a post to appear...and if
one posted the same post to both RMBM and RMB , it also took days for
it to appear on RMB.

Agreed. Maybe if we chipped in to pay the moderators it might work a
bit better.
