I met Angie once, and she was very pleasant. I also had a few email
exchanges with Ruth at the request of Lou who needed to get in touch
with her.
Several years ago, both mother and daughter were guest speakers at the
NY Metro Beatlefest.

Actually Ruth McCartney is Paul's step sister. No blood relation. James
McCartney (Paul's dad) adopted her.

This has been discussed before: When Paul's father adopted her, she became
Paul's half-sister. Legally, his half-sister. Biologically, his step-sister.
Heather Louise McCartney is Beatrice's half-sister even though there is no
blood relation. (see above) :-)
