Chris Jepson...
I got "Chaos & Creation" for Christmas -- first new Paul record I've
gotten in decades. One thing that leaped out at me is that whenever he
does double-tracked vocals, it sounds very Beatlish to me -- like he
suddenly morphs into Beatle Paul. I have to admit I wish there were
more of that on the disc!

TAR...
I requested this CD for Christmas and received it. I played it once and
that's going to be it. I hate it. Almost every song sounds the same to
me. The thing puts me to sleep.

McFeeley...
Wow. Pretty harsh. I got it for Xmas as well and haven't gotten around to
listening to it, I suppose I should. But then again, after this

R.A.G. Seely...
Give the CD time - play it several times before you decide what you
think. It may well grow on you. But reserve judgement before you
give up on it. A hasty decision may prevent you from getting
enjoyment from the CD. It's not as if disliking it will get you
anything, whereas eventually liking it will give you some enjoyment.
What's to lose?

I don't play a lot of Paul anyway, but I have found his last several
CDs take time to appreciate. They sound better after the 10th replay
than they do on the first play.

review........

TAR...
I played it in the car during a long ride. It made the ride seem that
much longer. It draaaaaaaaagged. My family despised it, too. Big
time. There was only one... maybe two songs that were tolerable...
maybe even somewhat likable.

I heard snippets of these songs on Amazon and didn't like what I heard
then, but people here convinced me that it was really good and that's
why I put it on my list. You guys owe me a Christmas present
replacement. :/

Chris Jepson...
Well, the early RMB reviews seemed to indicate that this is a disc that
needs several listens. It's certainly pretty muted in tone, not bouncy
like one might expect from Sir P.
