Jales...
Does someone know what was Kevin Howlett trying to do when he compiled
the "fly on the wall" disc? To me, it just sounds as a random
selection... but there must be some reason or meaning ... Has someone
got any idea?

Mark Percival...
My initial impression of that disc was that it is intended as a teaser
for the pending Let It Be DVD release. I have no proof of this, it is

Yes, but still there must be some logic... I don't think it's just a
random sequence
Didn't Howlett explain it somewhere?

just my impression. Unfortunately I don't know if we are going to see
the Let It Be DVD too soon. :(

These are the things which I can't understand about it:
1) Why the selections were so heaviliy edited: I mean, 9 seconds of One
After 909, 3 seconds of Don't Pass Me By, 24 seconds of Child Of
Nature, 9 seconds of Back In THe USSR, and so on...?
2) Why the repetition of Don't Let Me Down and Get Back?
3) Why so much dialogue and so little music?
4) Why only 22 minutes and a bonus disc?

The one thing I realise is that only original compositions are included
(except fot Maggie Mae), but other than that I find no sense in the
sequencing of the tracks... Moreover, many of these songs are not even
representative of the LIB era (Twickenham/Apple rehersals/recordings),
nor good, funny or interesting performances...

...
Good question. Frankly, I haven't got a clue.......
