Isn't the remix/remaster supposed to come out today in the US? Anyone

I ordered mine from amazon.com. Not sure if it is going to be in
stores, which is why I ordered it by mail. I would imagine that Beat
Buy or Tower or Barnes and Noble or Borders would have it if it's
available. I'm looking forward to the bonus tracks!

I see it contains "Miss O'Dell", one of George's few happy, non-boring
songs. That should raise the level of the album considerably, maybe
to one star.

Well we can agree to disagree re the quality of this album. But you're
right in the sense that I doubt this will be a big seller and it isn't
a favorite of most people. I always liked it for its spirituality even

Me, too. I feel that way about most of George's albums.

though I'm an atheist. Go figure. I thought it had nice music and good
sentiment.

I am surprised this one was chosen to re-issue. Probably because Olivia
and son are both into the whole Krishna/ spiritual thing, themselves,
and they thought George would have liked this one to be reissued. I
don't know but that's the only way I can explain it...

What info do you have that leads you to this "impression"? Please
share. George was really into it, wasn't he? And isn't Dhani into it?

I'm sure George was a believer. I don't know about Dhani, but it's been
my impression that Olivia doesn't care much about "karmic law" shall we
say. I get this impression from my own personal experience and also
from private conversations with people who know her. Still, it's just
an impression, which could be wrong.

It was a big seller at the time of it's original release, and George is
doing his own thing.

I bet all George's album's were chosen for re-issue. Remember..he does
have fans all over the world...and lots of them

It won't be in stores for long. Harrison's music has never sold very
well. "Deep
Blue" and the other bonus track have been available for
years..hopefully they'll sound
better than ever.
