I'm a pushover with the post-Beatles releases. In one way or another, I
loved Hollywood Bowl, Rarities, BBC, Sub Songbook, Anthology and Love.
I always find something to like about them.
There were lots of "buzzy moments" on Love the first time I heard it.
The one that I keep going back to is the transition between "tonight
Mr. Kite is topping the bill" and the IWY/SSH ending. Some have
dismissed this a just key/tempo-matching, but I really like it.
I also like the match (on Drive My Car) between the Taxman and DMC
solos. Sounds like the same guitar.

I think it's the same guitar... at least it is the same player(Paul)

My disappointment was that King Lear was not loud enough in the
newly-stereo ending of Walrus.
BTW, regarding "the Book": Is this going to be available in stores at
all? Any readers want to share some inside info from it?

You might want to ask these nice folk...

On Walrus (on the music DVD), where you hear the "ho ho ho" "hee hee hee"
"ha ha ha" each come from a different speaker, as if moving in a circle.
They used the surround sound well in a lot of places on that music DVD
