I was listening to it and i can't stop thinking why Paul choose to do a
country/r&r setlist for this show. Did he think that unplugged means a
folk show?
Anyway.... the beatles songs and his solo material did sound very
good.... but the covers are boring, in my opinion.

I guess that you'd have rather heard Hey Jude, Yesterday, Live And Let
Die, I Saw Her Standing There, etc., etc., etc. for the umpteenth time.

I agree. I thought the covers were a treat. The whole show was excellent!
Even the songs that didn't make the official cd, but were on a bootleg were
good.

The great thing about the show, aside from seeing Paul in a small
setting was that it was for the most part *different*.

Good Show. I keep the CD in my rover.
What songs didn't make it on the CD?
Is there a DVD out on this they may include them?
I taped the thing on VHS, but too lazy to find it and play it.

Ok, I went and dug out the official "Unplugged" and the bootleg called,
"Plugged and Unplugged". The songs that were missing from "Unplugged" are:
"Mean Woman Blues", "Matchbox", "Midnight Special" and "The Fool".

I thought he had don Big Boys Bickering too.
He KNEW that wouldn't make it to the air :)

That was the MTV Up Close show.

.....and "Things We Said Today".

Sorry, there is no DVD of this great show, but there should be. The songs
never officially released included "Midnight Special" and one or two others,
I'm sorry I can't recall the others at the moment.
Perhaps someone else remembers?

I found it curious that Paul and Eric Clapton both did San Francisco
Bay Blues on their respective Unplugged shows.
