What do the good folk here at RMB think of the band SPARKS........ ???

I just picked up a compilation disc......... sounds great so far... ;^)

Well, I'd take them over 10cc, who probably share the same qualities
which you hate so much in Sparks.

Smarmy, precious, self-consciously clever, gimmicky, fruity, pop for
prog fans, similar timeframe, etc.

I don't own anything by either band, but I do wish I had a few of
the best Sparks albums.
