Some newish group is covering Handle With Care. Pretty grody since the
original was fine.

So...no other band should cover a song? The original will always exist.

So? Covers are a fine thing, even if the original was superb, as - in
this case - it was. There is always something new to uncover and reveal
in any good song, and that is what good covers do. They may not reach
the overall heights of the original, but - with luck - they may add a
nuance or two. Covers are a great musical tradition that - now and then
- yield magnificent results.

It's probably Jenny Lewis and The Watson Twins. I like the CD but the
cut is weak. The guitar is empty, only half there.
But I heard an interview and she said didn't know of the original.

She sounded sincere but it begs too many questions.

It was on 'Morning Becomes Eclectic' and I have the recording - - I need
to double check it.
