Runnnerr...
I saw Elvis at The Beacon Theater in NYC last night. He played a
great, soulful version of "That Day Is Done".

Just thought I'd let everyone know, especially those of you who keep
lists of such things.

abby again...
Did he mention McCartney?

Runnnerr...
Hi Abby. :-)

I believe that he mentioned that he and Paul had written the song
together before he sang it.

abby again...
Man, I'd love to see Costello in concert. You should've invited me!

Pete Best is coming to Greensboro, NC on a week night - LOL! I guess I (and
everyone else) miss that one..... No one in Greensboro does anything during
the week.

Runnnerr...
If Elvis is ever around your neck of the woods, you should try to see
him. I've seen him many, many times and never been disappointed. He
usually comes to play in NYC at least once a year- 2 or 3 nights at The
Beacon. Two years ago, he did three nights at Lincoln Center with a
different band and different format each night. The guy is incredible.

Let me know if you'd like to drive up next time around.

Love Elvis. I usually forget how much I enjoy his shows 'til I'm there.

Runnnerr...
I see Elvis every time he's in town and go to as many shows as I can.
He never does the same show twice which is just one reason why they're
so good. Also, (Paul McCartney, please take note he's not afraid to
throw in surprises. The last two nights, he duetted with Allan
Toussaint on both Paul Simon's "America" and on "Slippin' and Sliddin".
