Hi there..
I am playing in a Beatles-copy band, and we would like to play Yellow
Submarine. But we wont play it, unless we can make a pretty accurate copy of
the submarine sound effects. Does anyone know how to do that? Samples?

Check out the DVD version of both Anthology and the movie Yellow
Submarine in 5.1, disconnecting individual speakers to hear what's
going on sound and engineering-wise. There's programs to extract the
individual channels so you can easily hear and emulate the FX and
there's bootlegs that have the individual channels all torn apart too,
as sperate CD tracks, if you don't want to extract things yourself.

Ok, what you do is..you put the Beatles recording on your recording
studio..and play along with
the Beatles recording...and when the effects the Beatles do come
around..you simply turn up that part of the recording...and then you
wipe off the rest of the Beatles recording..then you later mix in what
you kept with the Beatles recording..and you mix that part in with you
own
band. That's exactly what I would do..though there may be others here
who can make it sound
simpler in this group. Hahahahaha.

There is a rocording of the song on a CD single ("Real Love", I think)
that has all the background effects real loud. Perhaps you can get
soMething from that.
