Seems to be going quite well for Vino so far. This morning he ate some
of an Iams pouch. I've found that microwaving the food does not help
him at all, he likes it cold. I guess it's what he's used to, being an
only cat, most of his food comes straight from the fridge.
We went for a walk on the beach today and then to some wineries, so were
out for 4 hours. When we got home, Vino ate lots more from his Iams
pouch and also had his acid urine pill and antibiotic paste with no
problems.

All in all, he has eaten about 3/4 of an Iams pouch today. I think that
is really good. We can really tell that he has lost weight, can feel
his spine all along his back :-( I guess it's good that he had some
extra padding to begin with.
Every day he is eating more. So since he is eating more and not puking
anymore, and is still getting his antibiotic and acid urine meds, the
only variants are that he's no longer getting his anti-nausea injections
and he's at home. I really think he reacted badly to the anti-nausea
meds. I will remember this for future reference.
Of course being home is also helping a lot. This morning he was cussing
us out for ages for not letting him outside. He really summoned a lot
of energy for that...
Finally Dennis let him out and they settled in together and read the
newspaper. Vino is particularly interested in the local council's
proposal to raise the rates by 7%. He does not approve.
Go Vino!!!

Woo-hoo! I'm glad Vino is feeling better.
Peter also prefers his Iams cold.
