Russian Blues....called Chartreux. I don't remember any

Oh, OK! When I saw the title, "Chartreux kittens", I just thought that
was the name of the cattery. Didn't realize it was the breed name. I
haven't heard of that breed before.

And although I knew it was a breed of cat, I didn't know
they were grey - I was expecting fur of a pale yellow (maybe
even slightly greenish) to fit the name (which must refer to
a place, not the liqueur).

Actually, when I *first* saw that title, I read it as "Chartreuse
kittens" and that worried me! :)

more about the breed, but I've seen these cats at cat
shows and their fur looks just like thick velvet, and if
you notice, they have sweet little heart-shaped faces.
What a handsome bunch.

I was thinking they can't be Russian Blues, with those round faces and
golden eyes (RBs are supposed to have green eyes), but I'd never hard of
Chartreux. But then I don't really know anything about cat hreeds, just
happen to live with a Russian Blue. :o)
