OT and paticularly for the Buropeans: Eurovision Semis

Belgium were robbed! But I am *sooooo* glad to see both the Finnish and
Lithuanian entries through.

I did try and pick ten to go through, but failed miserably. I could
identify six I really wanted to see go through; a handful that I *didn't*
want to see get through, and the rest of the field were much of a muchness
to me.

If anyone's interested, my six faves were:

Armenia, Finland and Lithuania (all qualified)
Slovenia, Belgium and Poland (didn't make it through).

Did anyone else watch, and does anyone have any views?

I didn't watch but I saw a couple of clips, All I can say is, I'm glad most
Finns are bettter looking than that. ;o)

LOL! I can't believe it. Finland's first win ever in the ESC, and with
this entry! I guess the circus will be coming to town next year. How
ever will our economy be able to take it? :oP

I didn't watch, but I'm amazed that Finland went through! Haven't heard
any of the songs, either (except Finland's entry).

The Finnish entry - if its that "hard Rock Hallelejuh" one, makes me want to
cringe every time I hear it. I mean, that sort of stuff was for the early
80's when Kiss was at their height, not *now*. It reminds me *so* much of
Zodiac Mindwarp, I'm surprised he doesn't sue to be honest.

Now, Lithuania's entry was *funny* and he music was pretty good too. If I
could vote, I would vote for Lithuania.
