My husband went to the store for lightbulbs and came back with a packet of 3
furry little mice. Of course I had to immediately open it; yeah, like our
kids need more toys?

Anyway, wow, what a success!

Although I have 3 cats, which means 1 mouse per cat, each cat wants custody
of two of the mice at the same time.

I keep buying them, the cats seem to love them, but they
keep disappearing! Cats have such talent for hiding things,
even in a small apartment. (And, if it's something that
could embarrass you, bringing it out again at the least
acceptable moment!) However, I wish they WOULD resurrect
the bottle of rather expensive prescription eye-drops they
made off with a while back. Either they knocked it off the
bathroom counter into the trash can without my noticing it,
or they've hidden it somewhere, but I didn't really
appreciate having to negotiate a refill (and pay for it)
just because the little bottle proved an ideal size for a
cat-toy!

I know what you mean. I lost a gold hoop earring in my sleep and I haven't
seen it since. I'm sure it's been batted under some piece of furniture,
because it's not in the bedroom!

Nothing is ever sacred when you have a cathousehold. :~)

There's a little hissing and growling going on here. I find it highly
amusing. :~)

That's so funny! Persia seems to like possession of two fuzzy mice at a
time. Odd thing is, she's afraid of *real* mice.
