All the cats have their games. Stosh plays Tail, which involves catching and
holding, or swinging from, Mama's "tail" or my braid; Brandy plays Keyboard,
the object of which is to keep me away from the computer by any and all means
of distractioon; Odessa likes to play Tag and Roxie's leisure time activities
include long-distance jumping and "armrest," which is jumping from chair to
chair to get pettings from all who may be in the room. Sabrina now has
developed her own game,

So glad to hear she is really settling down.
|
We'll pet her when she lies on our chests at night or early in the morning,
and she'll duck her head under an arm to nudge the hand onto the other side
for petting. When she wants a change she'll duck again and lead the hand to
her other side again. She can do this for an hour or better, ensuring that
she hogs all the attention.

It's good to hear that she's bonded so well with her new hoomins,
sleeping on you and headbutting you.

She has gotten better in recent days, now venturing short bits out of the
bedroom on her own. She'll run abck at the sign of another cat though, and
still guards the wool with her life. But now she'll only sit and growl if
someone walks into the bedrrom, instead of getting physically defensive, and
a good thing it is. Stosh and Brandy actually had tantrums and were behaving
most brattily so that I had to go sleep upstairs so they could have some
"mama time." They were quite polite after having me to themselves all night.

I hope they'll continue to integrate. It's really hard to tell with
cats. It can be like night and day how their attitude changes
depending on whether they're dealing a hoomin, another cat, a dog,
TED, etc. I was worried about that with Betty, which is why I ended
up never introducing her to another cat.

Blessed be,
