Bow down to the Grand Duchess Theresa the Antique of Chortling
Chesterton. :P

Well, I'm the "Marchioness Joyce the Harmonious of Durdle Door".

Kreisleriana...
So it is! The Brits have such a flare for place names, it can be hard
to tell the difference. ;) But please don't tell me there's a real
place called St. Chomondely Peasoup. ;)

Will in New Haven...
I wouldn't bet against it. I used to live not all that far from
Bugtussle, which is in Alabama. There is a town in South Carolina named
Center and due west of Center is a town called Due West. Once people
realized that "here" would no longer due for wherever they were,
madness ensued.

Kreisleriana...
And of course, there's the Official Town and Spiritual Home of RPCA,
Toad Suck, Arkansas. ;)

No no no no! Bug Tussel was in Tennessee! Petty Coat Junction and Beverly
Hillbillies (relocated to California) and all that.

Will in New Haven...
There are several Bugtussles, including

It is on Rte 69 between Jasper, where I spent my high school years, and
Tuscaloosa, where I attended the University of Alabama. It may not be
incorporated as a municipality but it exists.

Speaking of place names, is there a name prettier than Rising Fawn,
Georgia?

I didn't know what a Marchioness was, so I looked it up. It's a
feminine term equal to Marquis, whatever that is. :) (I have heard
of that title, everyone knows of the Marquis de Sade - I just don't
know what "Marquises" do. :))

I love to sing and harmonize, so I enjoyed being called Joyce the
Harmonious. I think I'll keep that part of the moniker. But Durdle
Door? Is that a place you get to from platform 9 3/4? :)

MatSav...
No, it's a lovely place on the Jurassic Coast of Dorset, UK.

Gorgeous!!

It reminds me a bit of many parts of the California coast:

Plus the Very Lord Stinky the Portable of Waterless St Mildred, and
The Most Honourable Dante the Free of Chalmondley St Peasoup. ;)

Why does this remind me of the Hobbit Name thing?

I'm Myrtle Hamwich of Buckleberry Fern

Will in New Haven...
I have the honor to be the Head Foodgetter and Errand Runner Second
Class for Baron Winnie the Gallant of Stonegate, Lady Maggie May,
Dowager Baroness and snuggler and purrer without peer, Lady Sunrise,
the Pretty One, Lady Missy, hisser at hoomans, Lady WooToo, Mistress of

can say so far are "hello," "good boy," five cat noises and something
that might be "go away.") and biter of visitors.

John F. Eldredge...
I am Most Noble and Honourable the Ebullient of Bartonhurst in the
