Anyone else watching this show here? I hadn't watched TV since my daughter
was born 8 years ago until a couple of weeks ago when I started watching
some reruns of this show. We ended up getting the DVD's of seasons 1 and 2
and now I'm hooked. It's so well written!

Ok, that does it! I'm adding this series to my blockbuster queue (used
to have Netflix, but I fired them after finding out the shennanigans
they do to those of us who return movies fast, much happier now). Too
many people have told me it's such a good series!

I have downloaded the first 2 seasons from bittorrent but haven't
watched them yet. I am planning to watch ASAP though.

I'm waiting for sason 3 to be shown in the UK, hopefully it won't be too
long.

I wondered if you would get the show over there - that's great that you got
the first two seasons. Speaking of UK films though - I see that 49 Up is in

Season 1 just started over here a couple of weeks ago, so we're slightly

theatres in North American starting this week (which means Calgary in 6
months or so). Have you been following that series? We rented 42 Up last
month and can't wait to see the next one!

Oh, wow! I just watched 42 Up a few weeks ago. I've now seen them all,
except 49, of course.
I find that the people get much more interesting as they get older. Many
of them were not all that interesting when they were in their 20s, but
now that they're in their late 40s, they seem to have gotten more
reflective and insightful.
I wonder if that obnoxious guy (who was in the group of three prep-school
boys in the begninning, who has refused to be in the film the last few
times - will come back this time? I forget his name, but I couldn't stand
him. Still, it would be interesting to see how he turned out.
I really like the guy who taught math in India. He just seems like a
kind soul. And I was amazed that the man who lived almost as a recluse
in Scotland, suddenly came back and became a politician, of all things!
And I wonder how the woman who had 3 sons and her husband left her,
is doing? She seems like a likable person.
It's pretty fascinating to watch them develop through life. Of course,
from my perspective, they've lived their entire lives within the space
of about a year. :) (The time it's taken me to watch all of them.) It
would be sort of interesting to have watched them in real time, only
when they came out in theaters every 7 years - to basically grow up with
them. These folks are 3 years younger than I am, so I could have done
that. But I'm not sure that movie was available in the US back in the
60s.

49 Up was on last year here, I think I missed it. It will probably be shown
again sometime.

What evening is it on? I only watch a very few shows, but I am always happy

It's on this evening in North America.

Thanks. I see it's on at 9:00 here, which is good. I have a Toastmasters
meeting this evening, and I record Survivor to watch when I get home. I
don't want to watch two shows after 10:00, but I can watch it tomorrow
evening, when there's nothing on I want to watch.
