Little Boy has pretty much claimed the window sill of The Window
Behind the Dresser as his own, although I really try to discourage him
(okay, I only discourage him a *little bit*).
Today, I had to talk to the folks at the apartment complex office, so
i walked on over.
The Window faces onto the office, so I could see Little Boy all
stretched out, pretty as can be, looking out The Window. As I walked
in his general direction, his eyes got big, he sat up, and he gave me
a "What are YOU doing out THERE?" look.

Sometimes, it's so easy to confuse a cat. I usually take the cats inside
and close the door to the enclosure whenever I leave home, but one time
I just nipped out to snap some pics of the new lion statues near my
house, and I left the enclosure door open (to the inside, not into the
alley). When I came back, Caliban was out in the enclosure and I called
to him. He looked soooo confused:
|
When I came back inside, Little Boy rushed to the door, eyes still
wide open, and he gave me a thorough sniffing, asked to be picked up,
and gave me a thorough cuddling as well.
I guess he thinks of me as an indoor-only person (big grin).

You have managed to do something quite rare:
you have broadened the horizons of a cat!!
Just think what'll be going through his mind
next time he sees you walk out the door and
starts furiously imagining what you could
possibly be doing out there!

Aw, he saw his daddy in the big bad outside and must have feared for your
very life! ;>
It's funny, but the only time people ever see Demi is from outside (her
favorite spot is the window ledge of the cats' bedroom which races the
street).

Aw that's sweet, he was woried about his daddy.

That is so sweet! Robin looks out the window meowing when either of us
is out. And he greets us at the door and escorts us inside. He also
does the same for our old blind and deaf dog. Robin is such a good
guardian.
