Clearly, whatever has infected people's appliances over here has reached our
shores.
Within less than 24 hours, both the vacuum cleaner and the dryer went belly
up. The fridge had to be replaced 3 months ago. I'm dread to think what will

I bought a new iron on Monday and took it back to the shop on
Tuesday.........as fast as I poured water in the tank it poured out
the other end (yes I did do it correctly as per the instruction
book ). When I returned it to the shop the shop assistant asked me if
I had phoned the *helpline* number ............how the heck could
speaking to someone on the phone fix a leaking water tank and it
wasn't a freefone number either!!!
In the last 12 months we've also had to get a new central heating
boiler, 2 new vacuum cleaners, a new fridge/freezer, a new TV, a new
hairdryer and a new washing machine....

I own a hair dryer. I use it every two or three winters, after an ice
storm, to melt the ice away from the edges of my car door so that I
can get into the car and start the engine. This then allows me to run
the car heater and get the rest of the ice off of the windows.

I still wash dishes in the sink, that can't go wrong ;-) I've never had a
dishwasher.

I think I've used my hairdryeron my hair once a year since I've had it.
Mostly I use it to dry off the mirror after a shower. LOL
