Shirley...
It would seem I've upset some higher power today, firstly I was
ironing some work shirts for Chris when my iron went bang and sparks
shot out of the holes instead of steam and then later on the washing
machine stopped mid wash. The iron is now in the bin and a bright,
shiny, new one has taken it's place in the cupboard (my purse is a lot
lighter now too) and the washing machine is fixed (the fuse in the
plug blew),but I'm really apprehensive about using any thing else
electrical today........a few greebling must have escaped Rosie
kitten's attentions and got into my electrical appliances.

The appliances are still at it, I see. Mandy's DVD player's on/off
switch quit on her on Tuesday. Fortunately we paid for the extended
warranty. The player is covered until 2008.

Pam S. worrying about what else is going to break down around here

Sam...
It's Sherry's fault. She p*ssed off some of her electro-mechanical
things and they went on strike (and spread the word around RPCA).

Sue...
Not greeblings, but perhaps a power surge? My mother lived in this complex
in a building that in some ways was worse than my own. Irons, hair dryers,
etc blew out (along with light bulbs) in some kind of tagteam wrestling
frenzy. It could very well be a power thing. Is it worth it to you to
call the power company and check into whole house protection or have an
electrician look at the place?

Adrian A...
You could be in trouble, it was probably only the strongest and fitest
greeblings that survived Rosie. ;o)

Monique Y. Mudama...
Perhaps it's just a laundry-specific grudge?

Hope that's where it ends.
