I've been reading this group for several years and don't remember ever
seeing a post from Ireland (Eire), which I find surprising. With a
population of 4 million people, mostly English speakers and well educated, I
would expect to see some cat lovers that also have internet access. I've
seen plenty of posts in other groups, but not cat ones.

I haven't been in touch with many of my relatives still living in The
Old Sod for a long time, but last time I spoke to them none of them were
active on the Internet. My uncles and aunts living in Montana (children of
my grandmother and grandfather, who came to the States from
Ireland) just about all have 'net access, but none of those still living
in Ireland do.
That is kind of strange, now that I think about it.

Considering how well the information technology business (and the
economy in general) is thriving in Ireland. Irish men and women don't
have to go west to make a good living any more.

ISTR there was a lady from Ireland on RPCA some years back - Cait? I'm sure
she took part in the first Christmas card exchange.
