I love the feel of wet nose-leather in the morning

Enfilade...
...particularly when Smokey puts his drippy nose in my ear at 10 after
5 this morning.

Eff off, Smokey. What have I told you about the alarm clock? When the
alarm goes off, I feed you. That's in another hour and 35 minutes,
buddy. *rollover*

But I ended up feeding them at quarter after six. That's when Nocturne
started licking the plastic on the kleenex box beside my head. When I
flipped it over, she promptly began *eating the kleenex* I had put on
my pillow.

I don't want Nox eating kleenex, so I got up and fed them.

Nocturne usually has no interest in kleenex. I swear she was eating it
just to MAKE Me address the food situation.

Joy...
Of course she was! They know how to push our buttons and pull our strings.

Kreisleriana...
Oh man. My tiny Mimi was the ultimate "Get her out of bed" mistress.
Mimi would knock things over. She would push things to the floor.

Enfilade...
Nocturne dropped a bedside lamp on Dylan's head once. Ever after, she
would go up and start rocking the lamp to get him up. "Remember this?
I can do it again." *sweet kitty smile*

I've braced the lamp with a bunch of stuff so she can't walk on the end
table easily, so now she eats kleenex.

CatNipped...
LOL! Bandit once learned how to turn on the touch lamp next to my bed.
Thing was, she didn't just touch it with her nose once (the dimmest
setting), she would tap it quickly three times in a row to turn it on to its
brightest setting! ;>

CatNipped...
I feed my clowder canned food with a little bit of dry free-fed for between
meals snacks. However, I don't really like them eating the dry food, so
they use that as a lever to get me out of bed to feed them. I swear the can
control the loudness of their crunching! ;>
