Annie Wxill...
Some of you may remember last year that my son-in-law rolled his motorcycle
into a ditch to avoid hitting a motorist who turned onto the road in front
of him. The driver continued and was turned in by kind witnesses who
followed her and gave her license plate number to the police. According to
the police report, she admitted seeing my SIL go into the ditch, but figured
she didn't need to stop.

Anyway, tomorrow my SIL will have shoulder surgery because he still has
severe pain from the injury. If anyone has any spare shoulder surgery
purrs, we'd appreciate any that can make it this way. Our little grandbaby

Victor Martinez...
Lots of purrs for a successful surgery.

would especially like it if his daddy could hold him longer without having
to put him down because of the pain.

How horrible that the person your SIL avoided hitting (and in the
process injuring himself so badly) didn't even stop to help.
I'm too late for the surgery purrs, but we are sending lots of healing
purrs and best wishes for you SIL to recover completely, Annie,

Sam...
Many purrs from here that the surgery gives your SIL the pain relief he
needs to hold his little one without pain.

Randy...
Purrs on the way for SIL. I have had surgery on my shoulder twice due to a
break and it wasn't at all bad. Very little pain from the surgery.

Annie Wxill...
Hi Randy,
Thanks for the purrs and the encouraging words. I'm glad that you had a
successful recovery.

Shiral...
Purrs for a successful outcome to your SIL's shoulder surgery.

Honestly, what kind of person doesn't stop when they see another person
their car just hit go into the ditch? There goes a warm, caring soul,
for you.

Annie Wxill...
Hi Melissa,

Thank you for the purrs.

In answer to your question, the woman in the car pulled out in front of our
son-in-law. He went into the ditch to avoid hitting her. Ironically, he
thought she might get hurt.

So...she got a ticket for failure to yield. Our SIL wonders why she did not
get a ticket for leaving the scene of an accident. Apparently, she is
someone of status in this community who figures she is above stopping to
clean up whatever mess she makes. The "little people" will take care of
those things. The excuse she gave for not stopping is that she saw other
people stopping, so she didn't think she needed to stop.
Fortunately, while some of those "little people" tended to our SIL and
called 911, others she nearly ran off the road followed her and turned her
license number into the police.
Otherwise, our SIL would be out of luck, because he had a concussion and
doesn't remember what happened after pulled out in front and he decided to
avoid hitting her.
Because of these people who got involved, he got medical care right away and
the woman was identified and her insurance company will have to pay for the
damage.
Annie

Successful surgery purrs on the way.

Purrs for your son-in-law. Dirty Litter Box offerings for the driver who
didn't bother to stop!

Nan...
Mega purrs are on the way west, and dirty litter box offerings to the
driver who caused him to hit the ditch and didn't stop to help.

mlbriggs...
Sending purrs for our son's shoulder surgery. My son had shoulder
surgery earlier this year.. His surgery was followed by extensive
physiotherapy. When he finished with that, he started going to a gym
three times a week to do specific exercises to make his arm and shoulder
stronger. That still continues. MLB

Annie Wxill...
Thank you. He is home and taking pain pills. We hope he feels better soon,
but not so soon that he tries to do something he's not ready for,

Annie

Marina...
Definitely, shoulder-surgery purrs on the way.
