We have some major brush fires here in Florida they are not near me yet;
Last week we had some ones close by, but these are about an hour away. They
have affected major roadway arteries in Florida. A lot of homes in the area
that are burning. The smoke has shut down interstate 95 from the beach line
( beeline ) leading to port Canaveral ( NASA ) to highway 50 a very large
stretch
Everyone in that area are on alert and have been warned to be ready for
evacuations. Right now the major one is about 1800 acres and another one 200
acres. Brevard fire fighters are on the scene even parked out in the front
yards of some home.
I hope we don't have to go thru the a time like the 1998 fires again. There
is no rain in the forecast till next week and not much is expected.
Purrs, hugs and Prayers requested for those in that area right now and for
all of us Please. That area was really affected during the 2004 hurricanes.
I am so tired of all this I am ready to say goodbye to everything even if
the family agrees or not. My nerves are shot already and is not even
hurricane season yet

Hurricanes, fires and floods! What awful things to deal with. Purrs for
the safety of all -- two legs and four legs. MLB

We got so much good soaking rain today, I wish I could send you some. I
know how scary wildfires are.
Don't despair too much about Florida. Could be worse. Just think, they
took Florida away from the Cherokees and gave them Oklahoma. That ought
to tell you where Oklahoma ranks in harsh lands to live in. :-)
Purrs for your state to get some rain.
