My eyes are a scary hue of red and I've had to squint and enlarge the
text a lot to see the screen yesterday and today. I've been working
morning, noon and night, 7 days a week on this translation project. I
think maybe I should try and take a break from the computer a few days.
I bought some liquid tears, and if it isn't better by Monday I'll go see
a doctor, but I'll try to stay away from the computer till then. Many
purrs on the way always for those in need.

Sending purrs to you, Marina, that you were able to rest your eyes (and
your mind) and simply enjoy kitties over the weekend. Hopefully by
Monday you'll be feeling much better.

Do you wear glasses? If so perhaps they need to be changed. If not,
perhaps you need them. Computers can be hard on the eyes, Best wishes.

I think maybe you have some sort of eye infection like conjunctivitis rather
than needing a break from the computer, Marina. I'm glad you have said you
will go to the doc on Monday. Purrs for healthy eyes for you.

Hopefully the rest will do the trick and your eyes will be back to
normal soon. You didn't wear glasses when we met for the book exchange,
but if you do wear glasses when working, you might need different
glasses for computer work and different ones for other stuff. I know my
former colleague used to have her separate computer glasses and her
"walk-about-glasses". Her daughter's an optician (is that what it's
called in English? optiker in Swedish), and she's made the glasses for
her mum.

You might try some polarized sunglasses - the sort they give
to patients after cataract surgery. Most of those can be
worn indoors, too, but cut down on glare considerably.
