Enfilade...
We took Nocturne to the vet for her checkup and once again, Nox was all
purrs and cuddles and bunts. Upside downy head. Snuggles, nuzzles.
Once again no one would believe us when we told them our love bug was a
little tyrant.

Until Nox wouldn't stop purring long enough for the vet to check her
heart. He put his finger over her nose, and immediately the purrs
stopped and the growls, swear words, and snarls began. Next came the
cardinal sin of tummy-touching.

Aw, poor Nox! There she was, innocently purring up a storm, and the
nice man suddenly starts doing very annoying things and spoiling her
good mood. And how could he hear her heart over the growls and snarls,
anyway?

Hope future trips to TED aren't going to be difficult with her now!


And Nocturne reverted to form...being miserable until she was released,
at which point she declared herself lord and master of the room and
everyone in it, then climbed up onto the scales to sit enthroned and

And how much does she weigh?

5.67 kg. She's a 3.5 now. Yes, Nox is becoming a fattie.

And she doesn't care if everyone in the room knows about her "bounty"

Probably so. Persia is the opposite, conversely. She's all snuggly at home
but when she gets to the vet it's like she's planned the great escape. She
yowls. She cowers and growls and is generally unpleasant. I think she's
believes if she's really unpleasant and uncooperative maybe they won't want
to keep her.
