gender disparity

Jack Campin - bogus address...
I have just had Muriel lying on top of me. She usually walks around
a bit before settling in my chest or thighs, but will quite often
stomp on my goolies before getting comfortable.

Our male cats have never done that; they seem to know where to put
their feet. On the other hand when they settle down on top of Marion
they will regularly stomp on her boobs, which the female cats don't.
And Splodge is now a rather heavy cat.

My two female cats go right for the breasts when kneading me. I don't
mind it, because they aren't particularly sensitive, at least, no more
so than any other part of my body. I always thought that, being mammals,
they recognized a mammary when they felt one, and perhaps there was
something soothing and familiar about kneading one?

Jo Firey...
That was Charlie's conclusion until Jake decided his belly served just as
well as my boobs.

Jake does prefer that whatever soft body part is covered with fairly soft
clothing. I don't even dare wear my lone cashmere sweater. But I do wear
another favorite wool sweater when I feel like being nice to him.

Anybody else experience the same disparity? Is there some sort of
gender awareness training that works for furries?

Karen AKA Kajikit...
It's nothing to do with gender - Silver likes to climb up on your
chest to get attention if you're lying down, and she has no qualms
whatsoever about stomping all her weight on my boobs - in fact I think
she does it deliberately because she knows it'll get a reaction from
me (even if the reaction is just an anguished moan and a 'GET
OFF!!!!!!!!!') I'm sure that her theory is that if I'm uncomfortable
enough I'll get up and feed her just to make her go away... it's never
worked, but that doesn't stop her trying!
