I threw a ball at Licky! (accidentally)

Licky and I were playing his favorite game: chase the foam ball.
But my aim is atrocious, so after a few uneventful throws, I threw
one that landed squarely on Licky's shoulder blade. It's a soft
foam ball, and I didn't throw it too hard, so there wasn't any
injury, except perhaps to his pride and sense of well-being. He
didn't react at first, but then suddenly he took off and hid under
my desk. I tried to go apologize and pet him, but he kept running
away from me. So I left him alone for a while, hoping he'd forget
about it soon.

Then I got the idea of giving him some catnip. All is now forgiven. :)

Kitty Farmcat sends lots of cuddles to her sweetheart to recover soon from
his fright. She sez she still feels pretty okay and would not object if he
