Annie Wxill...
Rosie loves to hang around when Jim practices his guitar. This morning, Jim
was sitting on the couch concentrating on his playing, The case was open
next to him.
A couple of minutes later, I noticed that the case was closed. The top
began to jiggle up and down. Pretty soon, out popped Rosie, who then
perched on the arm of the couch and gave herself the "I meant to do that"
wash.

Marina...
Aww! And LOL!

Annie

Christina Websell...
LOL! That wash seems to mean they are uncertain or embarrassed. My two do
that wash when they are outside down at the poultry huts and see a very
large rat which they have no intention of tackling.
Having said that, Boyfriend caught a rat today and put it on the doormat for
my delectation at lunchtime. Body size was about 6 inches. It's the
biggest one he's ever been brave enough to catch! YAY, Boyfie, the brave
mancat!
(the bigger rats get, the more they initially bite the cat that catches
them)

Karen...
I've never known a cat that could resist an open guitar case :D

Takayuki...
Betty was one that avoided getting into anything that looked like it
could be closed. She would never get into a suitcase, bag, cardboard
box, or even a laundry basket. She would have made one untrappable
feral!

Christina Websell...
Unless she was very hungry. It's not too difficult to entice an almost
starving cat into a catch-alive trap with a dish of crushed sardines in it.

Annie Wxill...
Or a suitcase. I always have lots of help when packing. I suspect that they
want to be sure I take some fur along in case I get homesick. But, I've
never seen one actually have the case close on her. No telling how long she
was in there before deciding to climb out.
