OT:Baby Hedgehog

I just looked out of the window and saw a baby hedgehog eating a bit apple
that I'd put out for the birds. He's so cute and very lively, after he'd
eaten he was running round the garden sniffing the air. :-)

Is it true what they say about the sound a hedgehog makes? I've always
wondered about that. I heard that they say "umbweebwee" - is it true????

The noise they make is more of a snuffle, like someone with a heavy cold.

Sorry, no photos, I didn't want to frighten him by trying. It would have
been difficult anyway, like most youngsters he was bouncing around like a
kitten. I was able to watch him for quite a long time.

I don't think you would scare a hedgehog if you sat at the window with a
camcorder and zoomed in on its action. You could then post a clip, and/or
extract some stills from it.
