Marina...
Nyah nyah nyah nyah to anyone who wanted an invitation to eat at my
niece's. I was invited to my sister's tonight and my niece had made a
lot of goodies, Karelian pirogi and a warm salad, and frozen yoghurt
(cranberry - she made it herself) and biscotti (that she'd baked
herself) for afters. She also made the pirogi herself. They are pretty
difficult to make, but they were delicious. She's such a good cook!

:p

Pirogi AND Kasper indeed.

And I got to pet all three cats, Emil especially. He loves everyone and
wasn't shy at all. Kasper was a bit shy at first, but he soon relaxed
after I gave him a good scritching. Kira stayed downstairs for a long
time after we arrived, but eventually she ventured upstairs and
socialized with us. She still hates Emil, her own son, and she only
occasionally likes Kasper. She did roll around with a mousie and looked
cute. She's a very round little girl!

Kasper was hilarious as he made my niece fetch a toy for him. He would
only go after it if it went inside a box on the floor. Even when my
niece was shaking the toy some distance from the box, Kasper charged
into the box after it. if she threw it, Kasper dived into the box, and
my niece had to retrieve the toy herself, because it was nowhere near
the box. But Kasper had decided the toy and the box went together, so he
went charging into the box regardless where the toy was thrown. He's
such a gorgeous hunk of a cat, but such a goofball at the same time.

Kreisleriana...
I think that's why I love cats. They're sublime and ridiculous at the
same time.
